Sprinkler Service Technician

Job Requirements

Must love to work outdoors and have 2 years experience as a sprinkler technician. A valid driver’s license and good driving record is also required.

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for trouble-shooting and repairing sprinkler systems. In addition to repairs, our service techs complete spring start-ups, fall winterizations and mid-season maintenance checks. We educate our customers on new water-efficient options to help them save water and money, and offer solutions to meet the needs and budgets of our customers. Say good-bye to stacks of paperwork, our tech’s schedules and service work are tracked and documented using customer software in the field.

The successful candidate thrives on solving problems, creates good rapport with customers and is self-motivated to make sure that the job is done right, even when no one is looking. Must have experience working with Rain Bird, Weathermatic, Hunter, Toro and Nelson products.

Have a strong work ethic and like to work outside? Northwest Iowa Sprinkler is a growing sprinkler company with lots of advancement opportunities for those individuals who can prove that they aren’t afraid of hard work.

Looking for quick learners to work in fast-paced environment.
Need reliable transportation and the ability to work long hours when needed.
Hours vary weekly due to working around the weather conditions but on dry weeks expect to work 40+ hours.
Need to be able to dig holes, work in the heat, and kneel on the ground to place sprinkler heads.
